A leading IT solution provider is looking for Solution Engineer / Solution Architect (Presales) to join their team.

Job Duties:

  • Support sales team to maximize company revenue through exploring business opportunities
  • Lead a technology discussion, influence client's decisions and establish/maintain a good relationship with clients
  • Obtain and review client's requirements and propose the best-fit solutions to fulfill client's needs
  • Act as a liaison between the IT and business community to make sure the proposed technology and solution could meet the tender requirements
  • Work with external partners, internal technology groups, and Go-to-Market teams to formulate solution proposal
  • Respond to RFI / RFP and responsible for the technical write-up, translation of functional and non-functional requirements into a solution design, and Scope of Work
  • Responsible for the overall design and architecture of the tender proposal
  • Prepare and conduct demonstration / presentation to clients and partners
  • Work with the partners and internal teams on architectural design, solution planning, and feasibility study for an end-to-end solution proposal, including Infrastructure and Network, Cloud and Security technology


Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science or related disciplines
  • A minimum of 5 years working experience in infrastructure and cloud
  • With solid experience in cloud, infrastructure and virtualization solution architecture and design or with at least 2 years working experience in the design and implementation of public and private cloud solutions
  • Eager and familiar with latest technology trends (e.g. AI and cyber security) and good understanding of IT best practices and methodologies
  • Experienced in engaging director and C-level executives to pitch differentiated solution value
  • Positive attitude, fast-learning, energetic, able to perform in a challenging environment
  • A good team player with analytical and problem-solving skills, self-motivation, working independently and good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent presentation skills with good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
