My client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager with a focus on process re-engineering in the banking industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of strategic initiatives to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams to drive process improvement initiatives in the area of operations, daily tasks included but not limited to:
- Work closely with operational teams to understand existing processes and pain points
- Implement operational changes to improve efficiency and reduce cycle times
- Align operational workflows with strategic objectives to drive business value
- Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
- Identify opportunities for automation and digitization to enhance operational effectiveness
- Collaborate with stakeholders across different business units to ensure project alignment and successful implementation
- Monitor and report to senior management on key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of process re-engineering efforts
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, technology, or related field
- Minimum 7 years of proven experience in project management, with a focus on process re-engineering in either retail or corporate banking
- Strong understanding of technology and its application to business processes
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, Prince2, Scrum Master) preferred
- Short notice, immediate availability, and willingness to become a contractor are advantageous
