Officer, Import Trade Processing -
Operations Department - Trade Services
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Process all types of import trade transactions including all types of L/C and amendment issuance; import bills, loan and acceptance initiation and settlement; shipping guarantee issuance and redemption, Non-trade Bonds/Guarantee/Standby L/C, etc.
- Compile and prepare trade monthly outstanding for customers, Banking Returns and other MIS reports as directed by supervisor
- Support to provide business requirements in any trade system projects, perform required system testing and subsequent enhancement or modification tasks from user perspective
- Provide support to Export Trade Processing Team or Customer Services Team, if necessary
- Perform other general clerical duties including data input; filing; mailing and other correspondence preparation including swift, etc.
Requirements:
- Completed secondary school education and equivalent with 3-5 years' hands-on banking experience in import & export trade operations. Degree or diploma holder with less experience can be considered
- Knowledge and practical experience in applying ICC rules, including UCP600, URC522, ISBP, ISP98 and URDG 758, etc.
- Transaction screening knowledge in trade related compliance, anti-money laundering and anti-terrorism under international and government authority regulatory requirements
- A multi-tasker who is adaptable to changes
- Team player who is able to maintain pleasant relationship with colleagues
- PC skills in Words and Excel
