Network Project Manager (Three Runway Project)
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to assist supporting the enhancement and extension of IT systems from 2RS to 3RS for Airport Authority Hong Kong.
Job Responsibilities:
- Project management of IT systems enhancement works, especially on network infrastructure installation, testing, commissioning and skills transfer.
- Provide network support on 3RS projects development works, and manage enabling contractors for configuration alignment and integration into 2RS network infrastructure.
- Closely manage vendors to perform project delivery.
- Install, configure, test and maintain network related equipment and network management tools.
- Perform network maintenance and system upgrade of related IT equipment.
- Coordinate with internal and external parties to ensure quality implementation and on-time delivery.
- Provide first and second line support to network infrastructure, including but not limited to routers, switches, load-balancer and firewall devices.
- Preparation and implementation of firewall / ACL configurations as well as joint testing with other project teams and/or vendors will also be necessary.
- System support and ad-hoc technical assignments during non-office hours may be required.
- Uphold compliance to defined architecture, standards, procedures and methodologies.
Job Requirements:
- Degree Holder in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
- Professional certifications in Networking, Information Security and Project Management is a plus (e.g. CCNP, HCIP, PMP, etc.)
- A minimum 6 Years' IT network experience in which at least 3 years' experience in Project Management and Stakeholders engagement
- Sound knowledge and experience in campus LAN and Wi-Fi, Internet, Cabling technology and IT Security
- Solid experience in routers, switches, load-balancer, firewall devices, etc.
- Good command in spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua
- Possession of a valid Hong Kong driving license (Class 1 & 2) is an advantage
