Our client, a reputable bank, is seeking a talented Business Analyst specializing in Data Governance and Management to join the dynamic team. As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with our diverse range of stakeholders to gather user requirements, document business processes, and provide essential support to the project manager. This role is crucial in ensuring that data governance and quality standards are met, making a significant impact on the organization's overall data strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document user requirements for data governance and quality initiatives
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of business processes, data workflows, and data quality metrics
- Support the project manager in defining project scope, objectives, and timelines
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure that data governance and quality requirements are effectively translated into technical solutions
- Provide ongoing support to end users and stakeholders, ensuring that data governance and quality standards are understood and adhered to
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Information Technology, or Computer Science
- Proven 3-10 years' experience in gathering user requirements, documenting business processes, and supporting project managers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Familiarity with data governance, data quality, and metadata management concepts is a plus
