Our client is seeking a candidate for Data Project and BAU support including daily system support, maintains and system review.

Requirements:

Propose and evaluate technical ideas with other teammates so as to design a suitable technical solution against the requirements and demands of the industries
Study innovative measures and technical development roadmap for data-driven tasks and implementation plan
Develop statistical analysis and modeling algorithms and apply these algorithms for data driven solutions to problems in bank domain
Coordinate resources to carry out tasks against the plans and complete the projects (including work, project documents, technical report and paper , etc.) as scheduled with high standard
Liaise with vendor on system support and maintenance
Participate in daily system support and maintenance

Job Specifications:

Familiar with software development skills in one or more high level languages (Java/Scala), one or more scripting languages (Python/Perl/Shell), knowledge of R or another statistical package.
Good at streaming development (e.g. Spark, Flink, Kafka)
Good writing, presentation, communication and analytical skills
Passionate, mature, self-motivated, and able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
Familiar with SQL and ETL / Reporting tools (e.g. Informatica, Datastage, Cognos, Tableau etc)
Provide technical support to ensure smooth 24 hours round the clock operation (including Disaster Recovery Site support) within the bank.
Develop the high-level project plan, set objectives, identify resources, resolve constraints and deliver good quality application system.
Ensure effective communication in place between users and IT team members within project and also cross projects.
Proven ability to manage multi-tasks and concurrent projects
Strong vendor management skills and experience
Good command of both spoken and written English, Chinese (including Putonghua) preferred
Familiar with one of Treasury, FX, Interest, Oracle GL (General Ledger), Universal Payment Services, Securities Trading, Fast Payment and Loan, Investment etc banking business knowledge preferred.
