PROJECT SUPPORT OFFICER (PMO)

Job responsibilities:

  • Contribute to project execution monitoring by liaising with internal stakeholders and communicating with external vendor on scope, cost and timeline
  • Assist in hosting regular project meetings, prepare meeting minutes and responsible for dealing with project-related queries from internal stakeholders
  • Timely update to project status, RAID log, and assist in preparing and distributing project reports for management
  • Perform end-to-end test execution coordination, assist to prioritize test design activities, propose approach, test execution, prepare test status and metrics reporting
  • Identify potential conflicts or issues and proactively manage project changes
  • Responsible for project related documentations in accordance with bank standard
  • Assess and ensure the data quality after data migration
  • Provide support and troubleshooting to internal users after project completion and arrange corresponding trainings
  • Handle ad-hoc projects/tasks or PMO administrative tasks, if necessary



Job requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business or a related discipline;
  • 1-2 years' relevant experience in IT or Project Management is preferrable;
  • PMP, PRINCE or Scrum Master are added advantage;
  • Proficient in PC skills for Microsoft Office (includes MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.);
  • Knowledge and experience in PPM tool is an advantage;
  • Good organization skills, interpersonal & communication, problem solving and presentation skills;
  • Strong sense in data, detail-minded, organized, responsible and willing to learn;
  • Self-motivated, well-organized and able to take up challenge and work under pressure;
  • Ability to priorities workload and manage deadlines in a systematic and organized manner;
  • Self-initiative and ability to work independently;
  • Able to handle ad-hoc assignments and other duties when required;
  • Good command of spoken and written in English and Chinese (Cantonese & Putonghua)
  • Having experience in the same position / Banking industry is advantageous
  • Immediate available or short notice is an advantage
