My client, a major public firm, seeks a passionate Data professional to join its Innovation unit to assist business teams in data exploration. Being a member of the innovation unit, the suitable candidate is to essentially understand the customer data sets on travel pattern, loyalty programme, app browsing history and video analytics. Also to facilitate business teams in utilizing the datasets for ETL, data visualization and segmentation, and provide assistance in the development on innovative data-driven services.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology or related disciplines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in data analytics is preferred
- Strong analytical skills and sensitive to numbers
- Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently
- Experience in one or more of the following sets of tools and technologies is an advantage:
- Data visualization tools, e.g. PowerBI
- Database programme, e.g. SQL
- Programming languages, e.g. Python, R
- Front end web technologies, e.g. HTML5, web scraping
- Process Automation, e.g. Power Automate
- Relevant experience in facilitating business teams in data exploration is an advantage
