A leading IT vendor is looking for experienced account manager for Public Sector in Hong Kong and Macau covering government departments, higher education institutes and regulatory bodies.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the voice of the customer and collect feedback to drive continuous improvement across all areas to help achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction
- Achieve sales quotas and owning the full sales cycle from lead to close.
- Achieve revenue-based and non-revenue based KPIs assigned.
- Establish, Nurture and Grow Client Relationship at both the working and executive levels.
- Work with the channel team to manage, develop and expand partner eco-system to support achieving sales quotas and successful execution of account plan.
- Continuous effort in understanding the business dynamics and changing needs of your clientele, leverage such insight to form, revise and support your account growth plan.
- Actively participate and support company's marketing activities
- Assume full responsibility for accurate sales forecasting by demonstrating in-depth knowledge of sales cycles from initial contact to the final procurement process.
- Maintain good sales disciplines and ensure company's sales forecasting tool is utilized appropriately and maintained on a regular and timely basis.
- Develop and maintain communications in a cooperative and professional manner within and outside the company.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above.
- At least 10 years of quota bearing IT Solution Sales and Account Management experience with the recent 3+ years serving the Hong Kong and Macau Public Sectors.
- Proven Track Records in selling Enterprise Software / Cloud-based Security Software / Modern Application Technologies such as Kubernetes Management, DevOps/SecOps Automation and API Management and Cloud Networking Products.
- Demonstrable track record in leveraging a team sales approach and multi-stakeholder's coverage model effectively.
- Fluent in account plan development
- Fluent in both Speaking and Written English and Speaking Cantonese.
- Proven IT Management Executives Relationship with public sector clients
- Proven experience and skills in managing public sector tendering processes.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Proven negotiation, Influencing and closing skills
- Proven abilities in business co-development with channel partners
- Expert ability to effectively manage time and prioritize workload, develop and manage pipeline and forecasting
- Takes an active interest in understanding the global and local e-government trends and related IT technologies
- Number sensitive and be able to work with data in both sales and business development activities.
