Last Friday, our team had the privilege of visiting V Cycle and participating in their Recycling Education and Plastic Sorting Workshop. We got hands-on with the recycling process at the factory, guided by the wisdom of elderly cardboard collectors who taught us the correct way to sort plastics. It was an eye-opening experience, highlighting the severe plastic pollution problem in Hong Kong.
In just one afternoon, we sorted an impressive 116 kg of plastic bottles. However, this is only a fraction of the plastic bottles disposed of every day. It's a stark reminder that everyone needs to do their part to protect our planet. Let’s commit to reducing our plastic bottle consumption and ensure proper cleaning and recycling—one bottle at a time!
A heartfelt thank you to Eric, Paul, and all the elderly staff of V Cycle for an enlightening and impactful workshop!
